Walking Mallorca’s GR221

In the beginning of April 2019 I walked the GR221 – Mallorca’s popular long-distance route (168 km) from Port d’Andratx in the south-west of Mallorca, along the western Serra de Tramuntana range to Port de Pollença in the north-west.

I camped most nights, checked into a hostel once, and finished the week off with a 4-star hotel in Port de Pollença – a well-deserved splurge and a splendid finish to a stunning week on one of my favorite Mediterranean island getaways…

Km 0. I’m ready to tackle the GR221. Port d’Andratx.
